Sanwardhan Sanstha
Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha is a registered non-profit organization established in 1993, dedicated to the development and rehabilitation of individuals with intellectual disabilities. It is managed by sixteen trustees from diverse professional backgrounds, including healthcare, education, architecture, business, and public service — all of whom serve voluntarily without remuneration. The organization is driven by honesty, sincerity, and a shared commitment to its mission.
Sandnya maintains transparency in its financial and administrative operations. All funds are used solely for the benefit of the students, with regular audits and filings submitted to the Income Tax Department, FCRA, and Charity Commissioner. Guided by the principle of “शिव भावे जीव सेवा” Sandnya welcomes students of all backgrounds and levels of need, ensuring equal access to care, education, and support.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS
At Sandnya, we support children with various intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each child has unique challenges, and we work to provide them with care, education, and support that meets their individual needs.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Nagpur, Maharashtra
Established in 1993 with just 2 students, Kalpataru Special School now supports 128 learners aged 6 to 18. It offers structured education, hands-on vocational training, and in-house rehabilitation. Students transition into supported employment, gaining skills, confidence, and a monthly honorarium.
