Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 19/02/2026 at Kalpataru Special School, run by Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha.
The program began with the anointing of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the chanting of ‘Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji’. After that, the teachers briefly explained about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to the students.
All the students participated enthusiastically in this program. The students expressed their feelings about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through their speeches. After that, the children were given information about the forts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through a video. The special attraction of the program was the impressive presentation by the children on the Powada ‘Pratapgadachya paythyashi khan’.
The special children displayed their talents with confidence and enthusiasm, which made the program more meaningful and heartwarming.
The purpose of this celebration was not only to honor the great king but also to inspire the students with values like courage, honesty, leadership and patriotism. The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the students and distribution of sweets.
