Without exception, every person in his consciousness has a desire to help some other person. This instinct for helping others; probably is the main difference in human being and rest of the living beings. In nature, we do not see one animal helping other. There could be few exceptions.

It is this inherent nature of human being which makes him social in nature. Thus, our society has a two way system. On one side we get many things like; money, clothing etc. from the society. And on the other side each individual is contributing in some or the other. That helps nurture cultural and social development.

But there are few less fortunate people who apparently look like non-contributing elements. Amongst such less fortunate, are mentally challenged people. It is the moral responsibility of able ones to help mentally disabled to overcome their weakness. They are not the self advocates. They will not ask you for anything; neither will complain about their problems. But is it not our responsibility to understand and realize their needs?

This is where organizations like Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha has an important role. On one side, we try to give appropriate help to mentally challenged, on the other side; we give the opportunity to the able ones to fulfill their inherent desire of helping someone who is less fortunate, through SSS.

Let us remember; YOU HAVE NOT LIVED AS A HUMANBEING AS LONG AS YOU HAVE NOT DONE SOMETHING FOR SOME ONE WHO CAN NEVER REPAY YOU.
